Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is a major concern for many home & business owners. Poor IAQ can lead to allergies, respiratory issues, and other health problems, so it’s important to take steps to improve it. Some of the biggest culprits of poor IAQ are mold, mycotoxins, volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), Formaldehyde and Carbon Dioxide. If left untreated, these can potentially pose a serious potential health risk to you, your family, or employees.
Detection
Starting with a visual assessment of the area, ProEnviro trained indoor air quality specialists, identify any obvious visible issues including mold and other potential hazards. Additionally, ProEnviro utilizes the latest technology to test the air in the area including live monitoring for particulate matter, total volatile organic compounds, carbon dioxide and formaldehyde. These live diagnostics allow us to determine overall indoor air quality as well as helping to avoid unnecessary testing.
Basic Inspection/Estimate
This is a complementary visual assessment of conditions observed. This is the most common inspection when there is a visible concern identified. Basic inspection includes non-invasive visual assessment of conditions present, determining the cause of contamination (if present), remediation options and preventive recommendations. *Laboratory testing is optional at this inspection level for a fee. **Written inspection report provided for a fee.
Standard Inspection
This is a for fee inspection when there is a concern of potential IAQ issues but with no visible area of concern. This is a very common inspection requested when someone detects an odor in the home, isn’t feeling well, suffering from allergies or other overall concern. Standard Inspection includes all the Basic Inspection services with the addition of live air quality monitoring, thermal imaging, non-invasive moisture testing and includes a minimum of 3 laboratory samples. Includes written inspection report and laboratory sample summary. *Additional lab samples are available for a fee.
Enhanced Inspection
This is a for fee inspection when there is serious health concerns or allergy suffering in the home. Enhanced Inspection includes all the Standard Inspection services and much more including a minimum of 6 samples for mold & bacteria, live air quality monitoring, VOC testing and more. Enhanced inspection is a long process and is priced based on testing and need.
