Mold Remediation

Have you already talked to someone about a mold problem? If so, chances are they’ve told you that you need mold remediation services. This is a term our industry created and describes the process of mold removal.

When properly remediating mold, it is important to not only remove the physical visible contamination but also to remove or breakdown the mold spore root structure within affected surfaces. Simple surface cleaning and stain removal are not enough to remove the mold spores. Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach) is often used in the mold industry, but it does not kill mold. It can be used as part of the process to remove stains but more needs to be done to remove the microflora left behind that will enable mold to return in exactly the same spot when conditions are correct. Mold Removal

If there is visible mold present, or laboratory testing reveals actionable levels of mold present, we will begin the process of mold remediation. Though every job has its own individual requirements, it is important that a proper remediation protocol is followed to achieve a successful remediation clearance test.
